Atai ("Value" in Japanese) Capital Management is a long-only, concentrated, unlevered fund run through separately managed accounts (SMAs). We employ a repeatable small-cap focused value strategy and are based in Fort Worth, Texas.
About Our Founder
Brandon Daniel is the founder and portfolio manager of Atai Capital. He was first exposed to value investing while in college during an internship at a small-cap focused fund in Dallas. Brandon quickly realized he had a strong passion for value investing and soon had ambitions of starting his own firm one day. Prior to founding Atai, Brandon worked as a credit analyst for a commercial bank and later as an equity analyst at a multi-billion dollar investment firm.
